YOUR DATA IN TASKHUB
Privacy policy
How TaskHub collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you visit the site, connect accounts, or organize your work.
TaskHub is operated by Datapipe d.o.o., Croatia. Contact us at pusicjosip1000@gmail.com about this policy or your personal data.
This policy covers TaskHub, including its Slack integration. When you use a workplace account, your organization may also determine how its workspace data is used. Contact your workspace administrator as well as us if your request concerns organization-managed data.
1. Information we collect
- Account and workspace information: your email address, name, profile image if supplied, sign-in information, workspace membership, and permissions.
- Connected accounts: provider and account identifiers, workspace identifiers, permissions, encrypted authorization tokens, sync status, and errors.
- Conversation content: message text, sender identifiers, timestamps, conversation or thread identifiers, source links, and relevant context from accounts you connect. For Slack, TaskHub reads permitted conversation history and selects direct and group messages, your own messages, mentions, and threads in which you participated or were mentioned for task detection.
- Your work: task suggestions, saved source excerpts, accepted tasks, descriptions, due dates, activity, review decisions, board membership, and personal reminders.
- Billing, support, and technical information: subscription and invoice records, payment metadata from Stripe, information you send to support, and request/error logs that can include IP addresses, browser information, and timestamps. Payment card details are handled by Stripe.
Other connections, such as Gmail, Outlook, or Teams, process corresponding email or chat information according to the access you authorize. Connecting one service does not authorize access to your other accounts.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, connect and sync accounts, identify requests and commitments, suggest tasks and updates, retain source context, provide reminders, support collaboration, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, and protect the service.
We process account and task data to provide the service you request, use technical data for our legitimate interests in operating and securing TaskHub, and retain records where required by law. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. You control which external accounts you authorize.
AI output can be inaccurate. Suggestions require your review and acceptance before becoming tasks; review proposed changes before applying them. TaskHub does not use this analysis to make decisions about employment, credit, or other legal entitlements.
3. AI processing of connected conversations
TaskHub sends relevant message text, sender details, conversation context, and related task or suggestion details to the OpenAI API to identify requests, commitments, and changes to work. This can include personal information contained in the messages. The results are stored as suggestions, task information, source excerpts, or proposed updates.
TaskHub uses AI for inference, not to train its own models on your Slack conversations. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default. Its default abuse-monitoring retention is up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its API data controls documentation. This is separate from TaskHub’s retention described below.
To stop further analysis of a connected account, disconnect it in Connections. This does not automatically erase tasks and source information already saved.
5. Retention and deletion
Account, workspace, task, suggestion, and saved source information is retained while needed for your use of TaskHub, until you delete the relevant records, close the account, or request deletion. Saved task and source records do not have a fixed automatic expiry. Dismissing a suggestion records your decision so the same conversation is not repeatedly suggested; dismissal is not a request to erase that record.
Disconnecting an account removes its stored connection credentials, pending suggestions, and associated proposed task updates. Accepted tasks, saved sources, and some review records can remain. Delete tasks separately or contact us to request deletion of remaining imported information. Removing the app in Slack does not itself erase TaskHub’s stored data.
Closing your TaskHub account removes your profile, connections, suggestions, and tasks you own, including owned tasks on shared boards. Workspaces where you are the owner and only member are deleted. Other members’ accounts and workspace records can remain. The app explains any ownership or role changes needed before closure.
Billing records, support correspondence, and security logs may be retained where needed for legal obligations, resolving disputes, handling your request, or investigating security incidents. Retention depends on the record and purpose. Providers may retain their own copies under their policies and legal obligations; account closure does not promise immediate erasure of every provider-held record.
6. Browser storage and security
TaskHub uses browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme, language, and workspace selection. Clearing that storage signs you out or resets those preferences. Services involved in sign-in or billing may use their own cookies or storage.
We use HTTPS, encrypted stored connection tokens, and account/workspace access controls to protect information. No system provides absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access or security issues to pusicjosip1000@gmail.com.
7. Your choices and data requests
You can edit your profile, manage tasks, choose what to share, change email reminder preferences, disconnect accounts, and request account deletion from Settings.
To request access, a copy or transfer of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or to object to processing, contact pusicjosip1000@gmail.com. Include the account email and describe your request. We may verify your identity and clarify the scope before acting. Applicable law and others’ rights may limit some requests.
You can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority, including the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) in Croatia.
8. Changes and contact
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and provide additional notice where required. For questions, contact Datapipe d.o.o., Croatia, at pusicjosip1000@gmail.com. Our support page is available without an account.
